Kurashi+ began with a simple question:
in a home, what is truly necessary — and what is simply noise?
THE IDEA
We design by subtraction.
We often try to fill a space with "something." But when everything asks for attention, what truly matters can get lost.
For us, subtraction is not about emptiness. It is about identifying what is genuinely needed, removing what is not, and allowing the essential things to stand out.
What remains is not emptiness. It is space with the right distance — room to breathe, and room for the life you actually live.
THE STARTING POINT
The home should still feel like yours.
We do not believe a designer should decide every detail of how someone else should live.
Kurashi+ provides a coordinated base — including the main materials, built-ins, lighting and key details — while leaving room for your own furniture, objects and personal choices.
If you want help with those choices, our optional styling service can curate furniture, rugs, curtains, lighting, art and objects, including pieces from Japan.
As your taste, routines or lifestyle change, you can add, move or replace things without having to redesign the whole interior.
